lakelady,

The secret is all in the "MoJo"

Seriously, I learned so much from others here at Tomatoville, especially "Earl", who doesn't seem to post here much anymore.

After reading about the Goose Creek tomatoes, I would like to try them. Where can I purchase them from? I live in southeast Florida and I am getting ready for planting. Thanks.

I have built 3 earthtainers and I'm in in the process of building several more and I am looking forward to trying them out.

Rob,

You can't purchase full grown seedlings this time of year.

I can send you some Goose Creek seeds, but you will need 4 to 6 weeks to get them ready for the EarthTainer transplants.

Hi Ray, Good looking Cukes. I`ve grown sweet Success in outside garden for past 5 years, (raised bed). Best cuke I`ve ever grown, all my friends and neighbors keep asking for more cukes than for toms. Bill

One of the things I learned this year, was that I had a huge "rush" of ripe tomatoes from about July 20, until August 20. I've now replanted about a dozen with new plants for my Fall harvesting.

Next Season, I am going to stagger my planting, with about 65% put in April 1, and the other 35% planted out on June 1. This should give me a spread-spectrum of production lasting a longer duration over the Summer.

I had the same learning experience Ray, my temps were warmer and the rush was sooner but I am definately going to stagger my seed starting next year. LInda

Ray, I think you plant all your toms in contianers. I plant in raised beds and have better luck planting suckers from my april plants in late may ( 5 or 6 ) and 2 or 3 every 2 to 3 weeks. thru aug. I have ripe toms until hard frost in Dec. GOOD LUCK BILL
PS save me a few GOOSE CREEK later I may ask Bul. Pink Giant.

Well, looking at all your tomatoes in your earthtainers, and since I
have 7 earthboxes. I think I may try a few tomatoes in them next
year. I've used them exclusively for peppers. Now I have to decide
which ones to put in them. 1 per earthbox.
