Seems disappointing in this day and age to hear of a newly released tomato (from a reknowned tomato breeding university) that's susceptible to verticillium. Begs the question to which other common tomato diseases Indigo Rose is susceptible - an important question if the purpose is to grow an anthocyanin fruit for healthy eating rather than just a garden curiosity.

Default Mine tasted really good

I grew this one last year and the taste was a solid 8 out of 10. I saved seed and will have it in my garden again this year. If this is typical of how this tomato will taste for everyone, then I strongly recommend you try it. It really loads up the fruit.

My Indigo Rose tastes pretty good also. A solid 7.5-8 out of 10. Also growing it again this year, along with 10 other blues.

I got these in an SASE offer here on T'ville that called them "Blue Cherry". I also have some of the "OSU Blue" name that came out of England, but they don't get as dark as these do. I'm growing both again this year as a comparison check.

The "Blue Cherry" is really what I call a "saladette" size. The taste last year was very close to Tommy Toe Red, which is among my favorite large cherries.
