A little patience and some restraint
I have seen a lot of posts lately, here and other places, where the original poster with the problem is hitting an unknown tomato issue with everything but the kitchen sink. Some people are telling others to try solutions without even identifying the problem. I know people get a little freaked out when something goes wrong with their plants, but it is my belief that you first ID the issue and then use the appropriate treatment.
I recently saw someone (can't remember where) who had slug damage on plants. They didn't know what it was but spray an insecticide on the plants that I don't think kills slugs, but kills things like centipedes, which eat slugs. Just saying, a little restraint may yield better results. Sorry for the rant.

I look upon the centipedes as my little ground level predators, think the only "bad" thing they do is eat small (baby) earthworms.

Well I hit my plants with the kitchen sink amd it worked.
One difference is I knew what the symptoms were and what the cure was. It just took the sink to fix it. As for bugs I don't bother the plants can outgrow most infestations. I had some mites eating my bean plants, I left them alone and a swarm of ladybugs came in to save the day. If I would have sprayed with kill all it would have spelled death to the ladybugs. Worth |

Unfortunately, the sink did NOT get rid of the bats in Worth's belfry.
