Default Is this a good Bug-Ground Beetle?

I don't know exactly what I have on my tomato plant but it seems I might have found a good guy, at least I hope it is.

See the pic and notice the damage to my tomato, I don't know if this scarring is normal to the tomato or not. This tomato is a Pineapple.

Ugh!

I had the black/orange nymphs last week. Thanks for the info, on to find out what to use to get rid of them.
