Default The tomato patch 2013

Again with the Florida weave. Plants are mulched with chopped leaves, compost and grass clippings. Fresh wood chips courtesy City of Raleigh who was trimming street trees next door.

On the right side of pic 1 is the dwarf garden..shoulda planted Snow White in there too!

Looks nice, very neat! My garden is still a bit of a mess, have grass to dig up, etc. Somehow I thought I would make it easier on myself by making the garden bigger and eliminating so many pots. Guess what, it's going to be bigger, and I will need more pots. How does that happen ?

I'm envious of those of you who do Florida Weave. I can't get the posts in deep enough (I have a lot of rock here) to make it stable. Looks good though!

Nice neat job Chris. Those posts will certainly do the job and should hold your plants nicely. I'm in the same situation as lakelady with many rocks that hinder my ability to use a rugged post like you did. Looking good and be sure to post some pics as your garden progresses.
