No this isn't the Stephen King Novel.
It is a picture or two of the late seeds I started.
Will post pictures all the way up till their death hopefully not too soon.

Woo hoo! It's 80 degrees in there! Is that a meat thermometer that you shoved in the dome? Lucky little seedlings! It's darned chilly here and my seedlings are still in their packets .

Yes it is a meat thermometer, every home should have and use one.
Here is a picture of the new seedlings they are greener than it shows.
You will see that weird mold which will soon go away and the moisture is on its way down too.

Next is the thermometer stuck through the side.
I used a small drill bit first to make it easy and so the plastic wouldn't split when I forced it through.
The dome is lifted up on the other side to control the heat.
But not enough to let the towns folk out.

I have the same height dome too.. it works great with the heat pad under the tray.. my remy seeds germinated within four days using a miracle grow seed starter mix which i mushed to a wet using filtered water before potting in the tray. I'll be giving away plants this early spring

Worth, are you expecting those super strong Texas seedlings to knock off the dome? Or is the giant C-clamp just to foil the wind...

No it is to foil the wind.
The DOME is off right now and will put it back on later.
Here is the GIANT C-Clamp next to a Really GIANT C-Clamp I rescued out of the ground a few years back.
It was completely crusted over in rust and locked up.
Its amazing what you can dig up.

Holy moly - that is one BIG C-clamp! I'd probably knock my flats over trying to affix the domes with clamps (besides, would need about 50 of them). I go low tech, just a big rock on top...

Here they are this morning.

I keep moist with my diluted Hydrogen Peroxide with a pinch of MG
We will see what the helmet head does on its own.
