Default Vegetable Garden

We are very fortunate to have so much space. It is .4 of an acre. My wife, kids, and I try to utilitize all we can. The tom pic is a German Johnson that was pollinated about 2 weeks before this picture was taken. I think that it is going to be huge. The peas are Lady Finger and Cream 40. The corn is Silver King in the background and should be ready next weekend. The corn in the front is or was a 65 day sweet corn, which we were not impressed with. The name is Sugar Baby. There are 19 tomatoes, some are heirlooms and some are hybrids. Pastes, cherries, and beefsteaks. I will say, I have tried raised bed gardening, so my hats off to all you guys and gals that raise bed and container garden, I have not been successful there.
Oh, the pole beans are Christmas Speckled.

Beautiful! Must be nice to have so much space that doesn't even need fencing!

Beautiful garden, how do you keep the deer at bay?

I use a fence called Plot Saver. Works wonders for the peas. The sweet corn is another story, as the raccoons have been destroying the plot. Set a trap this afternoon. The corn should be ready to pick middle of next week.

Nice looking garden! You could almost support a small community with the veggies out of it.
