As your skill and experience grow, you will be surprised at how much better you become at getting more and consistent production from your maters. I speak from experience. This site holds a wealth of knowledge, keep reading and asking questions. |

Thanks - I intend to keep working at it. My goal is to improve the quantity of fruit from each plant next year. I get these huge gigantic sprawling things, and my cherries produce a million flowers but the big guys, less than a dozen. I will keep reading, and experimenting.

Keep in mind some years you could do everything right, and still get low production.
