For My Fiends in New England - Something To Look Forward To....
Having lived in Nashua for many years prior to being "exiled" out here to sunny California, I understand full well what you all are going through this weekend. But Spring is not that far off - we've got Cherry Blossoms in the back yard now:
And a few Oranges still to harvest: While the Snow Peas are enjoying the 80 degree weather: And I planted Diva and Sweet Success seeds today, hoping for an early crop of cukes. Have fun making Snowmen!! I do miss that part of living there... Raybo |

Cruelty!!!!
I'm about 10 miles south of Nashua, and we've picked up another 5" today, with more to come overnight and tomorrow. We're too tired from all the shoveling to make snowmen! |

This storm missed me. No shoveling today! I think I got an inch last night. 15 degrees though and dropping. Hang tough Up in NH! Ray, I just ate some tasty Honeybell oranges. My annual Feb. box from FL. |

Hey Raybo,
Nice photos. Similar scenery around here but with a flowering plum and a Meyer Lemon tree. If you're starting your cuke seeds, I guess I should be doing the same - I usually just copy whatever you're doing - but a week or two later . When are you planning to set out your tomatoes? Oh, and my sympathies to all the TomatoVillians who might be suffering through the horrible weather in the NE! Hope things improve before too long. Anne |
