Lee -- Angora Orange Stick My wife would say not to give me any ideas. But ....... ummmm ..... uhh ..... I would hate to mess up the good taste of Angora Orange with the strong, unsweet taste of Stick. But maybe just for the sake of possibly getting a stick with orange fruit, but ..... ummmmm ..... uhhh .... No, I'm not going to do it. At least I don't think I will. Stay tuned.
That cracked me up. But I have to remember that I am in the real heart of "Appalachia". When I told the guy across the road that I was growing some tomatoes that come from Russia, he asked me if it was expensive to have them shipped in and then asked me if they tasted like Vodka. AND, he was serious. You'll hear, "I don't know nothing about it", as the answer to about half the questions you ask. That comedian, Brother Dave Gardner, once made this observation: "Just how smart you are depends on where you're standing at the moment." And, that's so true here. There's a lot of folks here who really haven't left this county. It's like 1950 without schools or TV, if you know what I mean. But, these wonderful people know how neighbors are supposed to treat one another. And that's why I live here.
