Take a look at my Sad Sac. Hopefully you can see the weight on the scale.

23.7 oz or 1lb 7.7 oz. It was a bad year for production and size. Oh well not going to make excuses. LOL

That's 1 kilogram Peispud, big in anyone's system You can find info on how to post pics in the Photo Forum. Mischka has put up a sticky note about it.

Top photo shows my 2.245 pound Sad Sac
shortly before he was eaten by my brother
and sister-in-law. They claim it was the
best tomato they had in 2006.
Bottom photo was taken the day he was picked partially-ripe. The earwigs decided he was on the menu that morning and he had one small hole on the bottom so I rescued him. Coin is a Canadian "Toonie". Large tomato plants in background outside the window are some of my tomatoes. Looking through the glass at the bottom of window shows 2 or 3 red shapes which are victorian dwarf tomatoes.
Seed was saved from Sad Sac and are available by request.

To show the amazing output of my Sad Sac
plant here's a couple of photos of a corner
of my garden. If you ignore the four obviously
large tomatoes in the forground; the four of
them all did reach 2 lbs but 3 of them got eaten by earwigs; the largest tomato was hidden even from me in the foilage until I decided to view them from the other side of the fence.

This photo was taken by crawling farther into
the "bush" and trying to ignore and avoid
breaking-off the 4 large tomatoes that were in the way.

My biggest Sad Sac was nowhere near the size of yours, but I was impressed too, with the total output of these plants that kept pumping out large tomatoes until frost. I picked many green that tasted pretty good even ripining indoors. One of the top producers in total poundage all season.

That was my tomato and weight...and no monkey business...that was the real deal. And I also have to say that Sad Sac was the best tasting tomato I had last year, bar none!

I saw plants offered at Shumway, and Remier etc. have seeds of Big Zac available this year!

it would still be neat to have an OP of this!
