Onion Drying
I have my onions drying in my greenhouse and wonder if it is not too hot, 90ish as a max. The are not in direct sun and are not long keepers. Any help?

Open all your vents wide to drive lot of air through by convection so they dry quickly. You don't want them to get too hot either.

I keep mine in the kitchen under a window unit (AC) around 72F for 4 months now. A few are starting to grow sprouts over the past 2 weeks.

If you're just drying them for storage, you don't want them exposed to hot temperatures and they need a lot of air circulation. I spread mine out on cardboard on the floor of our unfinished basement and run a fan on them for at least a few hours each day. One year I did try to leave them outside to cure but the weather turned hot for a few days and I wasn't able to move them inside. They did not keep very well that year.
