Is this White Habanero? - Page 2

OK. So if I want white Hab I should just order the seeds rather than reverse breed this little mutt.

If you want that specific little variety, yes. If you want a white chile of your very own, working with the mutt would get you there.

I tend towards working with the mutts because that's where the unknowns are at. It makes my garden interesting every year. (Some of my carrots this year are simply gorgeous and unlike anything you can buy. Hopefully next year some of my chiles will be too.)

Like in post 17, the two tomato plants that are doing the best this fall in our gardens are both F2 mutts. One is a Zapotec cross and the other is a Riesentraube cross. Both are growing as if it was spring. Comparing them to all the other fall tomato plants is like comparing apples to dog food. I will be growing out the F3 seeds next spring. It's fun watching them grow so well and they both taste very good. The Riesentraube cross is a multiflora.

Ive still got plenty of seeds that I ordered from baker creek. Might be 2-3 years old now but you are welcome to some. If you are interested let me know and Ill get them in the mail.

Salt did you get a little coin envelope that said mystery pepper?
