Tonight's low 53F ( that is fine ) and next FRI/SAT lows 41 to 43F. Again, that should not be a problem as long as it holds right there. Looking into "Hourly" forecast you will often see the lows happen just for 3 hours before the sunrise. It would be different if the lows persisted all night long. Let my just check tonight's hourly. OK. That (53F) will happen just for one hour before sunrise. As long as there is no frost , I won't be worried. I have experienced 8 hours of below frost ( 33 down to 24F) two nights in a row. I ended up losing 5 out of 12 plants. But I did my best to cover them. Otherwise they all would have been toast.
