...The Indigo Ruby is not two separate plants. Just one odd plant.

Do you think they would live if I tried to separate them? The entire plant is in a 4" container and is about 12" with pot. Also, just curious. What happens if you plant a two for together. If the container is large enough will it grow all right? |

$3.58 is too high for one tomato plant that has been given growth inhibitors . http://www.tomatoville.com/showthread.php?t=34569

I went by the farm store today. It was cold and windy. The Bonnie tomato plants looked awful. There were a lot of them wilting from lack of water, which I'm sure was going to be a squirt of very cold tap water from a hose.
The use of growth inhibitors in the plants that were in larger containers was very obvious. Celebrity and Big Boy looked like dwarf varieties, but now that I know what I am looking at, they also look a little poisoned, too. My dwarfs look a lot healthier. Those plants at the farm store reminded me a bit of plants that have been exposed to a little herbicide...just not quite right. |
