Nice report. Thanks for sharing. I'm in the Chicago area too and it's helpful to see varieties that have done well for you in this area. I am tweaking next year's grow list. Thanks.

Lindalana, when you say Mazarini "behaves as det," do you mean it set fruit all at once?

Yes, it ended up being wide but very compact, set bunch of great early fruits and kinda petered out later. So the jury still out, could have been other factors too but this is first year results. Def a keeper though, might try container.

Thank you for your report and pictures. They are inspiring! I am thinking next year I would really like to delve more into Russian and Ukranian tomatoes. If I could ask, where did you get your seeds and especially those for Ukrainian vining? I went online and found NikitovkaSeeds. Have you ever ordered from them? |
