Goji Faranji
I got Goji Faranji in a trade from someone here many years ago. I've grown it several times and it's a decent medium large red beefsteak type tomato from Iran.
This last Saturday at the farmers market a college age girl that looked Middle Eastern spotted it and her eyes lit up. And when she saw my description that it was from Iran she showed her boyfriend. So I asked her what Goji Faranji meant. It's just the term they use for tomato. The literal translation is "foreign plum" but that is what they call tomatoes. Carol |

Wow, that was cool! Must have given her a happy moment, good for you, plus you got a bit more information, too.
