Default Brown berry versus Black Cherry

Was thinking if I found a black cherry plant i wouldfind space for it this year as I have no cherries out this year but I did find a brown berry the other day and wondered what people thought of brown berry. Should I jsut wait until next year when I can grow my own black cherry from seeds or is brown berry ok? I would not get the best spot for me probably in the shady spot (see my other post frome zone 4)

I've been growing Black Cherry every year since 2003. That year I had trouble with germination but with saved seed no problem.

I've grown Brown Berry but found it quite bland and boring.
