Oh wow thanks! Oh yeah it was very hot. I have roll up sides so I had the ends open, sides up, and tried using old cotton sheets for shade but it didn't seem to help much. I also threw muddy water on the plastic as Cole_Robbie suggested and that seemed to help more than anything. I was able to keep it below 100 most of the time but it did get up to 115, which made all my cukes curl and in general shut down my plants. This year I'm buying shade cloth because I have seen how much they help on other growers GH's.

Great. Thanks for the info and insight. I have 8 windows in my 10x20x7 greenhouse with one main door. I will try to make an other door from the other side. I have a fan on right now and it is about 97 degrees, and it is not even 10 am. I am planning on buying some some sweet success cucumbers and golden egg squash seeds (I love how they look), and I found them on ebay. Where did you buy yours?

I have 2 cheap fans in each opposite corner. Really the little greenhouse is just to keep rain off of some crops. I leave it open pretty much all the time except the first month or so of spring.

Charley, they can be pickled. I remember eating them pickled in my childhood. I never pickled them my self. Now that I am thinking about it, I may just purchase seeds and grow them this year.
I make zucchini pancakes, scalloped squash could be good for pancakes as well. BVV, what do you do with them? Does it help pushing season couple weeks earlier or you using it to start seedlings?

Its for keeping seedlings in after transplanting then I grow tomatoes/cukes in it. Oh and I eat squash mainly fried, but we use it all kinds of ways.
