Mine came! I spent the whole day pawing through them and gloating, lol. Thanks so much to everyone who participated. I can't wait till planting season!
I had a few that I can't find any information on - anyone familiar with Valley (pole, snap) or Square House (pole snap)? The words are so common I can't find anything by searching. Also I can't find anything about Grandpa Hale's, Drobna, or Clay Bank Fall. And then there was one simply labeled Unknown Red Bean (from Ukraine). Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!! |

Holy Mackerel...I opened the bag. Thank you all who swapped in, and of course tormato for his time and effort, which must be in the triple digit hours by the time this done.

VA Me W At some point, participants who likely will be in the next swap, can list what they "plan" on planting. This will help others to not send in duplicates of varieties, and may help in deciding what to plant. |

That's me! I can't wait to see what you've stuffed that mailer with. Although I'll kind of miss checking this thread daily to see if my name was next.

The package arrived safe and sound. Gary, I really appreciate how much you whittled down my wish list!
Thank you to everyone who contributed. I hope everyone who participated has a great growing season, especially Gary! |

Thanks all for the seeds. I sorted them today, and daydreamed about them, and planned for how to plant them.
I've never successfully grown lima beans, so this year I'll give it another go. Also looking forward to growing new kinds of cowpeas. The common dry beans will get planted alongside my dry soup bean landrace. Perhaps some new varieties will do well enough here to be included in the landrace. I generally don't grow snap beans, because the return on investment seems too small. But I'll give them a try again the year. Thanks again!!! |

Wow I am simply astounded! Got my package in mail today and I am just tickled pink. I cannot believe what all was packed in there, everything that was on my wish list and soooooooo much more! Can't wait to get it all sorted into my seed organizer and decide what to grow this season.
Thanks so much to everyone who participated and a very special thanks to Tormato. I just don't see how you do all of this! Very excited and grateful, Jillian |

I can finally post, now I can let Tormato know what kind of beans and peas to send. I have more room for pole beans, ones that I can use dried, and I like shelly beans. I have
Whitey Swanger on my wish list and I really liked them, don't know what happened that I didn't save a few seeds. Some of the southern type didn't do well here, too short a season. Anything you send will be appreciated. All kinds of peas are fine. I didn't do the tomato swap and I have not seen Tami-G on any lists, but if you have a couple of seeds I would really appreciate them. It's a red grape size, nice tomatoey flavor, not real sweet and in my garden it has a tender skin. One plant puts out an amazing amount of tomatoes. |
