Obtained a sample of Optic Foliar (Transport, Watts, Rev, Atak). Seems quite interesting.
And some Hydro-Green 110. Never conceived of an incubator or a bioreactor as a "holistic" environment. Very soluble, me likey. http://www.myco-fusion.com/#!hydro-green/cv6d |

Morado Alcañiz/Ambite/Fitero/Zamorano... they are different tomatoes. M. Ambite is a good red flat determinate with purple flesh. I've got two morado de Alcañiz. A big ugly not good taste and a very good very regular beefsteak. The big sweet "tardio de Alcañiz" is sometimes called morado de Alcañiz too.
There are hundreds if not thousands of pink/purple beefsteaks in Spain. The best substitution for "ñ" is "ny". |

On the description list you sent me there is no information about one of them. That variety is Cheste Easier to ask you here than for me to e-mail you, although I am not allergic to e-mails,as well you know. Carolyn

Cheste is in Valencia. Purple beefsteak, good shape. Last year it was my best tasting tomato with brix over 9. Another year it had huge production and bland taste.

Thanks for the info Ilex. Sounds as if conditions are important. We have a semi-arid climate here, with little to no rainfall for many months, so perhaps the conditions might be appropriate for them to embarnecer adequately. (No conjugation so it'll be a simple search).
Very excited over Zamorano and the other Morados. Can you tell me a little about Darocense Corp.? Is Tardio-Morado de Alc. over 1 kg? Gracias! |

Tardio de Alcañiz was a bit under 1 kilo, but I grow them hard, no fertlizer and not much water. I'm sure it can get there with more care.
I haven't grown Dacorense. |
