I should have known better than to ask about protruberances and bellybuttons both in the same thread...especially while asking for photos...

Sorry I didn't reply earlier - out visiting my family, so have been with my nephews and new niece rather than my laptop! The plants went out pretty late -- first week of May in zone 9. I haven't had any catfacing (a few fused blossoms here and there on various plants), and this Black from Tula is the only one that has multiple fruits with bellybuttons. I was figuring it's something with that plant rather than the weather, but would be interested in any insights.
