Lol....we show off our tomatoes like its our first born..... Im just as quilty. ... Nice first batch.... Im growing spudakees for the first time.... They were tasty....... Infact I think its tomato and bacon sandwich time

Sorry, I'll do my best to remember as they have all been devoured.
All of the Blacks in the back are J.D. Special C TX, and Black from Tula. The red/pinks in the middle are SOTW, and Earls Faux. The small yellow one is Azoychka, and the large yellow/orange one is KBX. Front row from left to right are; Ledoux Special, Neves Azorean Red, and BW croatia.

I haven't tried that one, however I wouldn't give up on it until you've tried it several times. Mushy, or mealy texture could be weather related, letting it ripen too long or too much water.

last year I grew the black krim........ I found it mushy/mealy......... but others that grew it said it was great........ so mysidx .......... you are right ....... I'd give it another chance to see how it does next time........ here are my little babies (Spudakees)........... they will fall victim to a BLT .............. here shortly

this year I'm only growing spuds and Neptunes.........the Spudakees are doing great....... and taste really good......... The Neptunes are abundant producers but not as tasty as the spuds........ Last year I grew Brandywines, Arkansas Traveler, Black Krim, Mortgage Lifter and Big Red....... out of the list from last year the Big Reds did the best for me.......... then the arks.......... brandys and black krim were a disappointment.........
