My Solar Flare is coming in yellow, too.
Seed mix-up or stability issue? Has any one contacted Brad about this? I was going to contact him but thought that he is probably a little busy at this time of year, lol. Jeff |

I like "smack you upside the head" tomatoes! Hope this is stable. Have had my eye on this one all season, waiting for Brad to get it back in stock.

I am growing both...my Solar Flare tomatoes look just like Ray's, and myspot yellow looks just like the first photo in this thread. Perhaps Brad mixed up a bit of seed somewhere along the line...it happens.

Mine were yellow but i put them in a paper bag with a banana then turned a little red, and still had some green skin see the shots

I took stock of the mystery yellows today and don't believe they are Spot Yellow or AAA Sweet Solano. Mine are larger than both and have stripes not spots. I have AAA Solano growing, some of the fruits on the mystery are 2x the size of it and the stripe pattern is more pronounced on the mystery yellow.
I like it and have saved seeds for next year, we'll see if it's stable. I'd emailed Brad but never heard back, however he's at peak season right now so that's not totally unexpected. |
