Here is Flamenco. It should be heat tolerant

Every year I grow one tomato variety with carrot-like foliage. Usually it had been either Serebristaya El (aka Silvery Fir Tree) or Morkovnyi (aka Carrot-Like), two Russian varieties you know under English translated names.
This year there is a debut of Flamenco

I am growing couple of them for the 3rd yeay. I love them even though the fruits are on the acidic side.

Acidic side is that what that is called.
The year I grew it and tasted one I thought I had fresh 9 volt battery in my mouth.
Fir tree that is.

Worth,

acidic side is what we call an old-fashioned taste (a more acidic than sweet)
Serebristaya El (SFT) and Morkovnyi (CL) are also on that side

if you want to try a very good one with the beautiful carrot like foliage, grow LUCINDA !

I had Silvery fir tree last year but will never again waste space for it. Beautiful yes, edible no..... (though the dogs liked it.....)

I am not wasting any garden space. Mine are in pots ( ~ 5 gallon). They get bushy , compact and stay short. They are perfect in containers.

We loved Carrot-like for its foliage, and the fruits were that 'old fashioned' taste my mom likes.
Perhaps I'll try Lucinda one day if the taste is a tad sweeter...

I always watch threads like this as there are a few of us who belong to what I have dubbed the "Silvery Fir Tree Fan Club" ! I grew Flamenco a couple of years ago and liked it a lot and it does have good heat tolerance. I need to remember that and grow it in the Fall.
