Mantis, It is a matter of culture and the type of beer you are drinking. Personally I wouldn't drink Budweiser or Fosters out of anything including the container it came in. But when you are talking about German beer especially from bavaria, a glass is definately needed so as to enjoy the aroma as well as the golden nectar in its entirerty. Geez I just got thirsty!! Ami, Drinkin it on the other side of the pond.
P.S. have you seen Earl???

Well, where the heck IS Earl? Has anyone heard from him so as to know he's OK and just doesn't have time for posting?

Well, the momma/nurse in me is a bit worried because it seems like after a second page of a thread titled with Earl's name in it, he ought to have said something. Maybe I'm being paranoid Hope so.

I ithink there are quite a few folks who are taking a tomato sabbatical from posting much or at all.

I did see Earl's recent post at GW and is one who just hasn't been posting much anywhere.

Craig called me yesterday and we had a nice long chat and he's another one who is occupied elsewhere. And there are others as well, without naming them here.

Life outside of tomatoes? In the frigid temps of December? I am online way too much. I think I need to find a hobby for the winter

Nope, Earl is OK, he just posted yesterday at another site, not GW, and both Suze and I said hello, and all he was doing was saying hello as well.

Hey Bully, if Earl isn't coming back to Tville, maybe you better send those seeds to me.
Can't have 'em going to waste if Earl doesn't like tomatoes any more.

Earl's probably inside his greenhouse with the door frozen shut.... but if
he has ripe maters... he won't be trying to hard to get out!

Oh, and as we say down south...

Hey Y'all!

Lee

Who's glad it ain't mater season, cause with work and kids, and school, and illness, and kid's illness, and the holiday madness, who has time for tomatoes?!!
