Craig, I was here earlier today but left pretty much ASAP b/c you know I have a deadline to get my tax stuff to my tax man in just a few days, based on my 6 mo extension.I know it's all here in this room, but I don 't know exactly where.

All to say Congratulations, felicitations and well done.

Lets's go back to the late 80's when we first met,via SSE,and outside of my own farmer father you are the longest running tomato friend and all around friend, for almost 30 years now.

Back then would either of us thought we would have award winning books,I don't think it ever entered our minds. Yes,my book also won awards as well, all I remember was for writing and photography done by Frank Iannotti, as well as book design.

Of course I'm much older than you are,now 77, and I know there are still many more books you want to write, and will do,but as for me,no,no more books,no more magazine articles I will write, just being here at Tville amongst gardening friends is enough for me.

So again,I am really happy for you for this award,so carry on since last I knew you have lots more time since you just turned 40.

Carolyn

Very nice, Carolyn, and thanks so much.

We've both had quite the rides with the humble tomato, that's for sure!

It is a very well written book Craig. Very comprehensive, and a book that kept my attention - which is a rarity.

Congrats, and keep on writing.

Craig, you picked a great time to visit the Cape! Our weather this week has been fantastic for October, and you missed all the summer insanity!

We avoid the Cape like the plague from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The best Cape experience was the early December visit my husband and I made for our anniversary weekend a few years ago. We watched a local Christmas parade wearing T-Shirts and spent the day exploring the beaches along the National Seashore with no one else around. Heaven in the off season!

Congratulations on the book award! I feel honored to have an autographed copy in my collection of gardening books.

Congratulations Craig!

I've worked my way through the book at least twice so far, and some parts more...and figure I ought be re-reading it a few more times over the winter. Definitely a grand opus! Thank you very much for all the work you put in on it.

Gratefully yours,

Good job! Is it okay to include a link to the book on Amazon? I love the "look inside!" option, and that I can start reading on the Kindle app, while the book is on it'so way.

Of course it is. I didn't know there was look inside option for it.
