My uncle had a dairy farm. He had to dispose of the cow manure some way so used a classic towed manure spreader to spray it around his fields. The thing is, the tractor driver would be like a Mosaic Jew in the Sinai, subject to a constant rain of "manna". Not a popular job.

They use manure on their fields here too. I live a few meters away from the next field so I do know this smell very well. Especially funny when they accidentally drop a good amount of it in our street like this year...
