They may be on hard times there at Tomatofest

Anyone else get the email from them announcing their first ever tomato seed sale?

Tomato seeds 50% off...hmmm I wonder if I can get MP for $12.50

I can cut and paste it if you're interested

Papa Vic,

I totallly agree with you. At 75.00, it was going to take some serious convincing of DH. Landarc is right, that money is better spent in Napa or even the Lodi wine country.

At Norcatt and Morningsun Herb Farm, I had more than my share of tomatoes for a weekend.

DH was really shocked when I told him this year's price for TomatoFest.

Cheers,

Angelique

That price is meant to keep out the riff-raff (like me). Like butterflies, TTs are meant to be free.

You're right, chris.

Um, I mean, ah, not that I'm agreeing with you that you're riff-raff, or anything... 8)

I think we'd feel somewhat out of place. Hey, you guys east of us, don't judge all left coasters by your preconceived notions!

Aaannnnddd Bully, when one does yoga the mind and body are supposed to be in a state of "pureness".

So no drinking wine.

When I lived in Denver I took yoga classes twice a week and since you weren't supposed to eat before class I didn't, but after class I hightailed it to the drive in McDonalds that was nearby b'c I was soooo starved. LOL

And thereby lost my "pureness" of body.

That must be why I refuse to do yoga. Any activity that is not enhanced by beer, wine or a shot of whiskey, it just ain't worth doing.

And no, I don't feel the need to be more flexible.

Just another left coaster doing what he can to dispell the mtyhs

Hey, if you live in Carmel or adjacent area $110 is chicken feed. Sounds like a wonderful day plus a portion goes to CHARITY. Something like that is ruined when TOO many normal people go as the lines get too long.

Check out this one bedroom house (in Carmel) with a whopping 700 sq. feet for a tad over a million.

The ink probably isn't dry before they knock that sucker down and build some monstrosity an 1/8 of an inch from the property lines on all sides.
That's what they're doing around here it's called bigfooting for those unfamiliar with the practise

OMG! Woody Guthrie was right. The streets out there really are paved in gold.

There might be Gold pavement out there
Papa V, but I'd need my own creek in the
backyard to pan for it. Image the taxes
on that humble bungalow! ....JJ61

Bully,

You are too right on that account. And there is some bad architecture happening out there, too. Funny enough though, they don't knock em down, as that triggers all kind of environmental and board review. The code says that if you maintain the original structure, you can add on with just an over-sounter review. So they keep the walls and add on. That cottage would become the entry portico.
