PGibbons,

I'll be planting an F1 from last years batch, an F1 from this year, an F4, and an F7 from last year.

I have never bagged, and I want to see if there was any loss in vigor or change from the F4 to F7. I will bag the F4 this year,in case it did take a wrong turn somewhere in between.

Is the dehybridized version of Rampo RL or PL ?

I thought I saw pics of it being PL > ?

I know reg. Ramapo = RL

They have all been regular leaf to date. If any ever came up PL, it would have to have crossed or been a seed mixup.

But then again, if Ramapo crossed with Brandywine...

Ramapo F1 has arrived safely Downunder! I'll have to wait until August ready for our Spring planting. This year I'll grow Ramapo with Supersonic and Jet Star as the Hybrids.

ps Aunt Ginny's Purple has been the stand-out tomato in my patch this summer. The neighbours raved!!

4 / 4 -

I'm really into seed saving - and these were the cleanest seed I've ever seen.

I've said it elsewhere but: you could almost see your reflection ! lol ~

Ramapo has entered the building !

My Ramapo germination seems quite good. I didn't count these seeds when planting.

I have 6/6 that came up---4 of the plants have 3 cotyledons--anyone else have three cotyledons per plant?
