The plants and tomatoes are killing me I look at this thread every day but get flabbergasted at all of the variety and dont say anything because I dont have a clue about this stuff.
I learned a lot of the food ways because of my mother and working in the fields with our brothers.
Also talking to folks in the stores and asking questions.

Default Zamorano

ContainerMan, I can dig it.

Zamorano (thank you Vlad, and by extension
the Iberian TV contingent as well)

A representative specimen of the dozen + it continues to put out,
they are dense and tasty, and fairly resistant to sunscald.
A robust plant with strong trusses that don't require
much hand-holding. Permanent spot awarded.
This particular tomato was right at 400 g, a little
under 1 lb. Seeds saved.

Looking great man! That Zamorano looks like the pics I took of Wes last year. I will certainly be hoping to get some seeds to try that one out. You are very good at rotation, my outdoor plants have surrendered to mother nature, or rather I have.

Nice all-meat mater there, perfect sandwich slice.

It's a bear to keep the rotation going, the pay-off is being flush with tomatoes year round.

The tomato had very few seeds, so these will go directly to producing more plants, there will be a few left over. . PM me and I'll get some to you for a fall harvest.
If all goes well, saving seeds from tons of 1st fruits

I mangled it trying to squeeze every seed out of it. You are right, perfect for BLT.

That Zamorano truly is the meatiest looking tomato I've ever seen. The guy worried about green cores should see this magnificent specimen.

I've eaten a couple now and they are consistent, large dense core. I sliced one and used it to cover oven-baked chicken, the heat brought out some serious flavors.

I'll produce plenty of seed so everyone can partake.

Heck, if a certain initiative on California's November voting ballot passes, you probably want to invest in that store. It would have a budding business.

Gerardo, you are switching your avatar too often. I can not get used to it.
