Heavy Rain Coming : - Page 3

I feel bad for you waterlogged folks, but man lets spread a little of that moisture around. We missed a record high yeasterday by 1 degree and should break records the next few days. I have been leaving my flats of eggplants out as only 52 at night....in August we have lower lows than that....We also have a nice drying wind, sucking the life out of everything. My container tomatoes have some nice fruit started, but I would like the heat to break so I can plant my onions out and everything else....The humidity is non existant....

Well the third round of rains is still coming down here in New Hampshire. As a result I've only got about 1/3 of my tomatoes in! (!!) They are still alive, but they aren't very happy plants.

The rains have provided a problem I had not anticipated..... many of my plastic plant markers are now empty!!! The rains washed off the Sharpie-written identities of my maters! What are they????????

We had a good rain storm here is Ohio, our creek is just aoubt to hit over onto the road.
OUr neihbor planted her garden right at the lowest level of her yard ?? at the bottom of the run off ??
It is a river when it gets a good rain, then at her spot it is a lake!! I don't know what was she thinking, she told me her plan for drainage but last night i don't htink Noah could have saved her garden!! I feel bad , i hope she didn't loolse to much of her plants?
MY wheel barrrel is full of rain water , im going to get a big bucket and save it for later.

We were just starting to dry out ...
and on my way into work, I hear:
"Sun in the morning ; thunder-showers
later in the day" ...
great ... these plants are going to be huge !!!

Still raining here, too. And cold! I gardened yesterday afternoon in sweats! By mid-June, I'm usually done for the day before noon. What a weird spring.
