That is disappointing; I expected them to taste a lot better. I grew Ildi this fall; tons of tomatoes, most of my flowers actually set fruit.

The problem I found with Ildi is they were somewhat late; by the time they were ready so were a lot of beefstakes.

I try a whole mess of new tomatoes every year. I rarely grow the same tomato twice with exception to a handful of varieties. If i grow it again it will be tk make a couple crosses to.

Well I bought Barry's Crazy today. Hope they have a better taste than the Ildi I grew 5 years ago.

I had BCC in my garden this last year. Great production, vigorous healthy plant and decent flavor. My big complaint was for me they're what I would call crunchy/extra firm tomatoes. Yes I tried leaving them on until dead ripe. Also I was expecting them to be a darker yellow instead they were a very pale yellow. I doubt it will ever come back.

I'm growing them this season, never had a multiflora type of tomato before so I'm quite excited and hoping for big trusses.

Blondkopfchen (yellow) is multiflora type as well. Some people reported it as a good tasting tomatoes and some as so so. They were good in my garden but too much effort to collect them.

I didn't have good germination with Barry's Crazy Cherry either. I ended up with just one plant, and it wasn't really growing like the others. I planted it in the Earthbox and it limped along until I pulled it and replaced with something else.

Let me know if you need/want Ildi seeds? I grew in the fall and have lots of seeds.
I also have purchased Matt's Wild Cherry from late 2014 that you are welcome to.

I haven't had problems with germination, my seeds are directly from wild boar farms because I noticed too late that I could get them cheaper and sooner from another (austrian) online shop. In the end I'm happy about that because all of the seeds I later got from this online shop had quite low germination rates

To how many stems would you train BCC down? I'll grow it in a container... Is 1 enough?

I rather buy it from the place it's originally from and support the man.

I regret removing suckers from this plant at all because it's so short, it's still only 2.5ft tall and producing lots of blossoms.
Although it's being shaded by my dwarf papaya.

Right now it's the healthiest tomato plant in my garden with no diseases, which is saying a lot because I just came out of a very rainy Florida winter.
But it was in a fresh raised bed I installed recently, so I'm not sure if it's also due to the fresh mix.

My plant is doing great

Plant out date here was mid may.

It's one of my erlier plants to set fruit, much earlier as for example Candy Sweet Icicle to compare it with another Wild Boar Farm variety...
