Yes, that's the one.

It is a lonely number. But it's one of those that says "grow me, I'm the only one."

I don't think the one who sent it in has trialed it yet. This is the first that I've heard of it. The UBX, I'm thinking, stands for Ultra high BriX, so it must be a very sweet tomato.

Isn't that a sneaky way of weedling it's way onto someone's grow list? It's just SO tempting!!!!!!

Thanks Gary for adding this sweet one to my collection .

Very sneaky. It has grow me tagged all over it. Add a grow list with the MMMM package, how can you resist that one?

Should be interesting seeing what grows.

I beleive Pinkiris is the user name who donated the variety "Long keeper" to the swap. I recognize the name from GW.

Thanks. I thought there were many long keeper varieties; which, added to my confusion.

I grew Ambrosia UBX last year and it was delicious though seemed to have a bit of segregation still needed. I bought mine from J and L Gardens along with all the other Ambrosia tomatoes. When i get home i will check the pack for a description for everyone.

Ok so Ambrosia UBX (60 days) is "an early release of an experimental high brix line. The fruit is dark gold with green gel around the seed. Wonderful flavor and aromatic foliage. Six foot plants set continuously until frost." That is the description on the packet of seeds i was sent. Hope this helps.

"Two can be as bad as one
It's the loneliest number since the number one"

And that's for Indigo Cherry Drops, as I'm down to very few seeds. So, I'm splitting them up into 2 seeds per pack.

I sure hope this tomato lives up to the hype.

So I was able to identify everything except 2 varieties:

Spikes Red Belly Button - the package says Beef, no hits on google.

Quarter Pounder - the package says "(with leaves) don't ask", so of course I have to ask.

If I can't find any info, that's ok, I'll just add them to my mystery seed collection. One day soon I'm going to grow all of the mystery varieties at once. That will be fun in it's own right. No telling whats lurking there.

As you stated; it came from Lee at J & L...he offered it early last year, but not this year. I figured he needed to tweak it some more.

KC, i messed up the name, here's where the original seed came from, but the spelling there is seriously messed up. http://ohioheirloomseeds.com/product...a-tomato-seeds
I looked up this tomato variety in Russian, and it is, in fact a Russian commercial variety. Raspberry sugar plum cherry - Love the taste sweet with a zing, delish.
