I lost my Mazarini seedling, and thought I was going to go "heartless" this year. However, an unexpected cross last year is now producing my one and only heart variety this year. This is why I don't bag blossoms.

My OS is the same as pictired by ddsack. The bigger the rounder. The smaller are more triangular.

They need to be fully ripe that is dark orange. Then texture and taste are quite good. One can compare them here to a different shape more fleshy and less acid Azoychka.

I have Orange Strawberry on my list for next year. I am growing at least 12 heart varieties. Opinions on my picks for next year:

1. Sweetheart
2. Brad's Black Heart
3. Happy Jack
4. Australian Heart
6. Mazarini
7. Mrs. Houseworth
8. Pumpkin
9. Lithuranian Crested Pink
10. Latvian heart
12. Orange Strawberry

This is my tenative list with at least 3 more going to be added. I have Wes, German Red Strawberry growing this year.
