All my seeds go through the fermentation process and the chips sprouted in 3 days thats wonderfull. I was a little concerned sending the seeds out in the middle of winter but it looks like they made the journey OK.
Thanks for the update.

Joe,

I'm getting great germination after one week. It's been cold here and my heat tape isn't keeping my seeding bench as warm as I'd like but it isn't bothering Casino Chips!

Casino chips arrived today.. will be planting tomatoes next week. I wrote a note to include with the SASE apologizing for it taking so long but I wanted to wait for my seed order to arrive so I could send you the squash seeds. After I mailed the SASE and squash seeds I found the note still sitting on my counter Oh well, at least you got them! Thanks so much Joe!

One Casino Chips seedling into it's 5 gal. pot (2/3 full of soil) in greenhouse. I'll prune the greenhouse plants to 2 or 3 leaders each. I'll probably also grow a few outside without any pruning.

Joe,
You sent me seeds of both Casino and Casino Chips a while ago, and I wanted to let you know that I am just started some Casino seed and I donated some Casino Chips to a school so they will be growing the sport. Can't wait to try Casino and make some great sauce! Thanks again.

Joe,

Same plant, one month later, a few days from the first blooms. All of my CC plants are identical and very healthy, strong growers. I'm removing all side branches (for air movement in the greenhouse) and will allow only 2 leaders for as long as I can keep up with them.

Joe:

My casion chips are doing great. I have them in 20 gal tubs with a light planting mix and sturdy cage (which I hope I need). They have been outside now for a couple of weeks and are starting to flower.

Incedently, I got 100% germination on the 5 seeds I planted. Thanks again for the offer.

Frank

Joe, here are pictures of Casino Chips and Casino taken today (April 20, 2011). You probably can't see them in the picture but Casino also has flower buds that should open soon.
