Even though so far this has been a terrible year in terms of tomatoes, my pepper plants are thriving. Here is a harvest pic from today of peppercinis and a corbaci pepper. Corbaci is really an exceptional Turkish variety in terms of productivity and taste.

More pepper plant and harvest pics... I love the Turkish bell pepper "Kandil" because of its thin skin. It's perfect for stuffing.

Rutgers fruits cracked due to wet conditions we are having lately. I should have picked them for ripening inside. Kirkagac melon is growing very fast and I need to tie it. My only concern these days is the wet soil. It has been raining non-stop.

yep, it will continue for some time, just took a look at the radar and we are going to have rain until that front pushes through.

Thanks meadowyck. I am a little bit worried because of diseases. Luckily, couple of days ago I had a chance to apply Serenade when it wasn't raining. Plants look OK right now but I hope roots don't rot. Also melon plants are receiving too much rain that might cause bland fruits. First time growing melons so I am super excited.

My pepper plants did very good this year. Here is a picture of today's harvest. Varieties in the picture are Sigaretta di Bergamo (yellow/light green), Tunisian Baklouti (dark green, curved and wide), and Garden Salsa (dark green, shiny skin, long).

First picture shows the pot that I am growing the louffa gourd in. Second picture shows how this plant invaded the orange tree next to the backyard wall. Crazy huh?
