Orange Jazz is great, I liked it better dead ripe. Beautiful pics as usual. I really like the look of Lavender Lake, how does its taste compare to Cherokee Purple?

Great looking plant, love those multifloras! Thanks Marsha! The other parent must have been a larger black tomato if I'm thinking about my genetics correctly.

All my picked green tomatoes have ripened and are eaten. It will be February before I can start seeds. Great pictures.

A few others
Barlow's Best Black, it has a very good balanced complex flavor, a favorite of Mike (Camochef) Cranking out these weird shaped fruit. RL, indet stays a manageable height. Lithium Sunset , I keep coming back to it because I am getting fruit after fruit. Delicious taste, beautiful red flesh, I think this is in my top 5 this year. RL, indet, a monster workhorse on a med sized vine. |
