i pruned two main stems of the plant outside and one main stem in the greenhouse.
I usually don't cut back foliage (only if they are sick).
(sorry for my english)

"Dancing with Smurfs" in the greenhouse

"Seattle's Woolly Blue Mammoth" (I only saved the seeds from this plant)

Ciao Tom,

I am growing heirloom tomatoes in Parma, Italy.
Will definitely be buying tomato and potato seeds for next year.

I thought you would be pleased to know that in the land where tomatoes are RED, your green zebra is very popular.

I would say it was only moderately productive, it seemed later to flower than many varieties, and we did not have a very warm summer this year. It was slightly later to be planted out though, and I only grew one plant so wouldn't want to read too much into the productivity until I have grown some more next year. How productive were yours?

Hello,
reading French brings me to hate picking Latin in school.
I ´am considering if i try some of these new sorts either. Does someone of you know when they will be available?

I started mine too early [in February], hence they never were on a "normal" plane of grading. But they did produce the very first ripe fruits: Even before Sibirskiy Skorospelyi, but there were only about a dozen and I only got 4 of them. I think the others "disappeared" [maybe the drunk neighbor that drives by on his four-wheeler every day.] In any case, I don't think that me giving any statistics about mine, other than good flavor, will be of any use.
--- Next year I will grow them According to Hoyle. I'll see if I can drum up my pictures.

Simone, Latin AND French should have been the option! (says an old Latin teacher who has studied French as well, but who has forgotten a lot of French).

jemlestomates, more wonderful pics! In which region of France do you live? I live in a small town near Cologne. clara

The flavour was excellent here too, one of the best blacks I have tasted.

Blue Streak from this years harvest. I found it to be a good producer and the taste was pretty good.

Default Suyta Vilquina Potatoes grown from TPS.

Here are some Suyta Vilquina potatoes I grew from TPS this year. They were unfortunately grown in a container which I believe reduced their yield but the are still quite interesting.
