Just a note to all the seedies,
I grew Rattlesnake pole beans this year. 40 feet of row under a large oak tree (over 3' diameter). They only received about 3 hours of morning sunlight and were in shade for the rest of the day, and they made plenty to eat and plenty to freeze. Excellent flavor also. Will grow again next year. Hey Claud,
That is one serious bean bed you have there! I'm glad to hear they have good flavor, now I just have to wait and see if any come my way. |

NEW BONUS OFFER
Hi folks, We have an additional bonus offer for the swap participants of tomatoville. Elmtree3 has graciously donated some "Double Yield" cucumber seeds to share with you. I am going to allocate them on a first come first serve basis, so you need to respond quickly. You'll know when your seed envelope arrives later, whether or not you were allocated a packet. So get your requests to me quickly. I haven't received the seeds yet, so will be divying them up when they arrive in the mail. Even if you responded on the previous bonus offer, please go ahead and let me know if you are also interested in these cucumber seeds. Thanks Elmtree3 for sharing these seeds with everyone. ......Heather Last edited by hmacdona; October 21, 2011 at 03:20 PM. |
