Here are a few more pictures. We put a trellis in the pole beans today and planted two more seeds on the end of the box that wasn't sprouting. Husband finagled support for the trellis with twine and a thick stake, so hopefully it'll hold up.

Pictures, in order: beans in new location with trellis installed, all four spikes of the fernleaf lavender are blooming, sweet basil, hollyhocks still establishing footing, new growth and buds on the California Wonder bell pepper, lots of carrot greens that I need to ite the bullet and thin (I also planted some more seed on the half of the pot that hasn't sprouted anything), Silver Queen thyme, Tycoon tomato got a trim a few days ago (cotyledons and base leaves) and has perked up finally), sage in the lamb planter has perked up.

Everything got sprayed with a mixture of 2 qts water, 2 T DE, and 1 T neem oil today as a preventative, and a sprinkling/scratch-in of Osmocote Flower & Vegetable (14-14-14).

Also Worth I thinned out some of the fruits on the satsuma like you suggested! There's loads more blossoms on it still so I'll have to keep on it but the tree looks good.

Oh, also we planted some marigold and cosmos seeds around the border of the pot that satsuma is in, as I read that having annual flowers sharing the pot will help better gauge when to water. I could have just got some 6 packs to plug in, but they all looked pretty sad so we went with seed instead.

With the remaining flower box (we have three of those copper boxes), I tossed the rest of my poppy seeds (probably like 10) and some cilantro seeds in there. I'm pretty sure the cilantro will grow way better than the poppies, but I wanted something in that box so I just kind of tossed some seeds in there and sprinkled some potting mix on top. We'll see what happens!

Here are some better pictures of the tomato plant. Should I prune those buds off and let it grown more before blooming or just leave it alone?

Also attached is a picture of the zombie jalapeno plant (called zombie because it was demolished by aphids last year but grew back with a vengeance and is thriving) which currently has over 20 peppers in various stages on it!

No pictures since my phone is charging but things are looking a little less healthy lately. I think it's all of the cold mornings and wind we've had the past week or so. Many of the bean leaves are starting to shrivel and everything looks a little beat up. The cilantro is starting to bolt, but I planted more so it's no big deal. There are tiny aphids on the lavender which I have moved to a separate area of the patio to quarantine and will spray it all down with the neem+DE heavily this evening (will spray the other plants as well). I harvested the first strawberry just as the baby ladybug was going to check it out, so I had to move him. The strawberry is red but not deep red so it'll sit on the counter for a bit, just didn't want to attract birds. It's about pecan-sized, which is way bigger than the three dinky strawberries we grew last year before the spidermites got them, so I'm happy. Tomato plant is doing great and looks super happy. Loads of peppers on the jalapeno that will be ready to harvest soon. New leaves and buds on the satsuma tree as well.

Upon further examination of the beans, I feel kinda dumb. Beans have cotyledons too, right? Each plant has a group of three new leaves growing, so I'm guessing the cotyledons are just dying since they're no longer needed.

Darn Kelly You asked that question some time ago.
I would leave the blooms on as the are still little and it will be awhile before they set fruit.
Everything looks great and yes the cold and wind has put a beating on much of my stuff too.

There were more little black aphids on the lavender yesterday, so it got another thorough dousing of my neem+DE spray after I blasted them off with water.
