Default Database of toms...??

Does a tomato database exist?

I know of one for Chilli peppers, so the idea is not ludicrous...

Anyone?

I think Tania's site is great but when I think of a data base for OP tomatoes I'm thinking of the SSE YEarbook where about 4,000 tomato varieties are listed by SSE members.

Another site to look at is:

http://ventmarin.free.fr/passion_tom...ion_tomate.htm

....which is in French, and the translation goes slowly, so usually I don't do it b'c the French words for color are pretty well known and one can convert from grams to ounces easily as well.

http://www.tomodori.com/

Another one in French

http://www.reinhard-kraft.de/

And Reinhard Kraft's photogallerie ( click on that word at the site) of pictures is always helpful. In German.

Thank you for the sites -

Is the SSE Yearbook you mentioned available/accessible on-line?

Only the list of varieties for the 2009 Yearbook with no other information.

And only SSE members can request seeds that are listed, for a suggested cost. It isn't a seed exchange or trading type of situation.

But no wheres else will you find such diversity of TOmato varieties listed.

Last I knew the Yearbook may be online next year, the whole yearbook, but will be available only to SSE members.

If you want to know more about SSE please go to:

Tom -- If I may be so bold as to speak for Carolyn, 'LQ' means Limited Quantity and those can be requested only by Listed Members.

Thanks for posting the SSE online yearbook link. I knew I had seen the site last year, but for the life of me couldn't find it again when I started searching for it this week.
In my bookmarks now.
