OP Big Beef
Anyone grown the OP version of Big Beef? I'm wondering how it compares to the Hybrid.... flavor and production and disease resistance.

I am growing one each of the hybrid and the op, side by side; so far I have gotten about 6 tomatoes from the op averaging about 6oz and no ripes ones yet from the hybrid. Because of spring very wet conditions and continuing wetter than normal condition, I am not going to make any taste judgements for a couple of more weeks. As I write this we have been and will be getting storms tonight; probably 2-3" of rain. I will report back in a couple of weeks if I dont have senior moments and forget.

I'll be looking forward to your report. I'm curious as to what benefits there are to de-hybridizing, other than saving seeds.
