Default Linnie's Oxheart, Wes, Hege German Pink ?

I have found a source for most of the new varieties I want to try next year but I can't seem to find these three; Linnie's Oxheart, Wes, and Hege German Pink. I have found a listing for a tom called German Pink. Is that the same as Hege?
If anyone could post a link to sites that have any or better yet all of them I would be grateful.
May be I'm trying to get my seed too early because a lot of sites are only listing their 2009 catalog. I hate to wait too long because some vendors are slow in getting out orders and I usually can start setting out toms with safety in Apr. but I'm going to try to set out some early varieties in March next year and hopefully won't have the late cold snaps like last season.

I have 2 batches of Wes seed drying, but I don't have the other 2 varieties. I should also have close to 100 new-to-me varieties when I finish processing everything in about a month or so. My web site won't be updated til after I know what all I will have.

During the winter I'm usually pretty quick to send out seeds, (usually just a couple of days) but this last month I've been just too busy with farm work to do any seed orders at all.

Our weather this year hasn't helped at all either. Everything slow to grow / ripen and now enough mud to bog down a tractor.

Carol has said she has Wes seeds and I know it's also listed at Sandhill but right now without Googling I don't know about the other two. I offered Linnie's Oxheart seeds in my seed offer here last year but have no more seeds.

Perhaps the best thing to do would be to go to the Seed Forum here at TVille for WANTS and ask if anyone has seeds for Linnie's Oxheart and Hege German Pink which is not the same as German Pink.

97 days, indeterminateThe fruits are red, heart-shaped, weighing six to eighteen ounces. Introduced by "Big Red" from Kentucky who got the seeds from an elderly neighbor, Linnie Sears, who has been growing this variety for years and she obtained her seeds from a friend. Sent to us by Dr. Carolyn Male (NY MA C).

Lordy do I feel ridiculous. I completely forgot that I had sent those seeds to Mike.

But while it may be 97 days for Mike in Oregon I see it more of a 75-80 day variety, with wiggle room an either side.

What is it that one has to eat or drink to improve memory?

Linnie's Oxheart was one of my very best tomatoes this past season. NO Late Blight which took out 80% of my other varieties. Nice BIG perfect hearts and one tomato lover I shared the fruit with expressed what a "GOOOD" tomato it was. UNfortunately I neglected to save seeds!!! WILL order from Sand Hill, however. Mine were in the range of 80-85 DTM.

Larry, did you mean you'd order from Victory Seeds?

I ask only b'c Glenn at Sandhill doesn't list Linnie's Oxheart in the 2009 paper catalog nor the website so I flipped thru some pages to find what I sent him last Spring for trial and find I sent:

Pozhar
Ludmilla's Pink Heart
Orange Minsk
Herman's Special
Ceman
Giannini
Lincoln-Adams
Morasky Div
Ludmilla's Red Plum

......but no Linnie's Oxheart. I do think I remember that someone may have sent Linnie's to Adam Gleckler as part of that large group effort but I'm not going to go check on that either. And I don't know which of all the varieties we sent Adam will be at his 2010 updated website.

Of the ones I sent to Glenn I have no idea which ones might have done well and will maybe be in the 2010 catalog/website.

I'm just trying to restore my memory by checking in my little black book.

Default Hege

When I went to my stash of seeds, I was surprised to find I only have two seeds of Hege left...that and the seemingly lack of people with them alarms me.

Although I can't send you seeds....I will be adding these as "endangered for me"

I believe I sent these out to a grower as well...I'll check. sorry

I hope to help replenish this variety.

I see CamoChef grew them out this year...bet he could help

Default Hege

I was sent a quantity of Hege German Pink seeds for distribution.

PM me

The donor will be anonymous unless she comments here. It was a great gesture of sharing.
