Newbies 1st tomato garden blush

I am very proud to say that I have 2 new blushing tomatoes. These are my first of the season I have a Better Boy blushing at only 45 days of plant-out. I also have a large Pink Brandywine blushing at 63 days since plant-out. I am very excited as this is my first tomato growing adventure. The Better Boy is in an Earthtainer while the Brandywine is in the ground. I will provide pictures in a couple more days .......... >>>>>>>>>>>>Talon

Since they are ripening so early, take a peak at the bottoms to make sure you don't have BER.

Thanks for the advice......I have been watching my maters like a hawk. The bottoms have NOOOOOO sign of BER. My weather conditions have been near perfect in Michigan plus I pamper my plants without over or under watering them. I am about to be one proud "tomato daddy" ........ >>>>>>>>>>>Talon

I am very surprised that I have a blush at 45 days Better Boy is listed at 72 days on average to harvest

This season.....I credit the 45 day blush for my Better Boy to Ray and his Earthtainer design. My Earthtainer has a 72" tall Legend tomato plant (bush type determinate) 1 foot away from the "blushing" Better Boy plant in the Earthtainer......Unbelievable. I am honest and gain nothing from lying here. Thanks to TV for providing me the knowledge to grow healthy tomato plants this season.................. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>Talon

Welp.......I picked my Brandywine and Better Boy today at 3/4 blush. I think they will be ready to eat in another 3-4 days. I am not gonna risk my first 2 fruits to birds or other varmints >>>>>>>>>>>Talon
