Is this a Carbon? Obtained from last fall's seed exchange

Last fall when Hmacdona organized the seed exchange, we got a packet of seeds labelled carbon and grew several of them this year. After looking at the leaves and other descriptions of Carbon I've found on the internet, I'm not sure this is a carbon. All the seeds that we planted have produced the same plants and here are some pictures of the plants and fruit. Do you think it's a carbon and, if not, any ideas what it might be? Maybe Mine are small also, it should get darker on the bottom first, green or red on top last. mine are really small, but mine are in pots. Not next year for me, in dirt for sure.

I picked these off of the other plant I'm growing that came from the same seed as the 1st picture and was also suppose to be carbon. The second one was just too darn cute. These are a lot smaller than the ones off the first plant. They don't have the good taste the ones on the first plant did either. They don't have a lot of flavor at all. I'll see if the taste improves with the others getting ripe. So far I'm not impressed with whatever it is.

Your fruits are certainly too small to be the real Carbon. Mine were full size beefsteaks with excellent flavor.

It seems I've got something else for sure. At least the fruit from the first plant I posted pictures of tasted good. Thanks for the pictures of the real Carbon. I ordered some seed for Carbon from you earlier this week, Tania, and am excited to have the real thing next year.

I just noticed this posting. I keep a spreadsheet with a list of who sent in what seeds for the swap. I have sent a private t-ville message to the person that sent in the carbon seeds last year so they are aware they are not growing true to type.

Thank you, Heather. We have a few plants growing from those seeds. They all look the same in leaf type as in the pictures I posted above. The fruit size is definitely different. Some are good medium size fruits with a fair flavor; one had an outstanding flavor. The others are extremely small and vary from bland with no flavor to horrible ones that taste like fermenting seeds smell. I have 2 other plants from those seeds that should have ripe fruit here soon and they are closer in size to a cherokee purple so we'll see how they taste.
