Squirrels again
Well finally the squirrels have quit gnawing on my tomatoes. I went out this morning to check and not a single one has had a bite taken out of it in two days. The row of broccoli I set out 3 days ago is only a memory. They ate it down to the ground. I guess now that the broccoli is gone they will resume their tomato munching. I'm going to have to get serious with the bb gun again this fall.

Why don't you try live trapping them and relocating them first? Killing one of gods creatures will come back to bite you in the butt down the road I have a couple of possums that I feed most nights.....they are harmless and do zero damage to my property + they are good for the environment as they eat everything except peppers...... even rotten tomatoes.

Give squirrels no quarter. If you feed them ONCE, they will interpret that as an open invitation to everything you own! They can be extremely damaging in their foraging.

stop relocating your pests to the country. we have enough squirrels here, we don't need yours too. how would you feel if we brought our squirrels to your neighborhood to infest your garden? if you can't kill them then leave them to eat your garden not mine.

The squirrels here like to stash spare seeds that they
do not need to eat right now in the lawn beside this 100 year old fir tree. Then they come back and search for them weeks or months later when they are hungry. When I mow I find bell beans, vetch, oats, rye, and whatever was in the bird feeder this year growing.
