Default Only green Yard.

I thought I would post a picture or 2 for you guys sitting under 10 feet of snow.

A lady stopped on the way by the other day and complimented me on how nice my place looked.
Total cost about $25 to do my neighbors back yard and my acre of land to sow in annual rye grass.

I also planted crimson clover along the road way it is just now coming up.

Nice patch of green Worth! I do not know what kind the seasons in Texas are, so I have to ask why is the grass on the other yards brown? It can't be because of cold weather?

We have had solid white lawn for two months now and it will stay that way at least three more, unless there is some freak warming coming.

Actually it is because of cold weather. We have had several nights here in the last month or so that got down to mid 20's F. it was in the teen's F in the northern part of the state.

Everybody's yard dies in the winter here but rye grass will take the cold and die out in the summer. The deer love it.

Contrary to popular belief it isnt always hot in Texas we have 9 months of gorgeous weather from fall to spring with the occasional cold snap.

Thanks for the compliment.
