Default Orange Paruche and suggestions for semi-determinate orange cherry

I have some south-facing self-watering windowboxes that I want to fill with small tomato and pepper plants. I only tried this for the first time last year and the varieties I used didn't taste very good. The tomato was Venus from Thompson & Morgan and I won't be growing it again this year. The tomato is gorgeous in color, but the plant is truly dwarf and the taste left a LOT to be desired. The soil I used was a Foxfarm potting blend, which I suppose may have contributed to the size/taste, but I had great results with it in other planters...

Anyway, I'm looking for a semi-determinate or bush type orange cherry tomato. I am leaning towards Orange Paruche because I am a sucker for the description on Territorial Seeds! The seeds are rather expensive, however. Has anyone grown them? Thoughts?

Any other suggestions would be very much appreciated! Suggestions for small, brightly colored peppers (sweet or hot, but definitely edible) that would work in a windowbox would be appreciated, too!
