Default How do you eat a fresh tomato?

I'm just curious how others eat their fresh tomatoes. Im not talking the canned or cooked salsas or otherwise preserved tomatoes. I prefer mine straight from the garden with a little sea salt and a dash of pepper. I also like them on a sandwich with bacon, mayonnaise ,and a slice of sharp cheddar on toasted sourdough bread. Yeah I'm getting anxious for the season to progress.
I would love to hear other ideas.

1.On homemade white bread with either butter or mayo, nothing else.
2.Thick sliced bacon and tomato on toasted bread (no mayo, plain)
3.On a plate topped with salt and pepper with cottage cheese on the side
4.Chopped with salt and shredded fresh basil and dished onto rosemary focaccia toasts like bruschetta
5. Layered slices with fresh homemade mozzarella in between, drizzled with the best extra virgin olive oil

Dang it, now I'm hungry

I have been known to eat one straight out of the garden like an apple.

But sliced, various colors on a plate, with fresh basil and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. I might add some fresh mozzarella if I have any.

I like them best eaten plain, out of hand, just like any other ripe fruit.

1. A thick slab of beefsteak tomato in a whole grain bread sandwich with bacon, lettuce, and mayo.

2. Thick slabs of beefsteak tomato layered with fresh mozzarella, EV olive oil, chopped fresh basil, and a sprinkle of salt.

3. A thick slab of beefsteak tomato in a whole grain bread sandwich with cheddar cheese, then fried in butter.

Oh mama, hurry up July

Mmm! Can't wait to try my tomatoes! I eat them plain, cut into wedges with a sprinkle of salt, on a BLT, or in a caprese salad/sandwich! ( salt, pepper, olive oil, basil, and mozzerella.)

Im drooling!!

The only thing I put on my tomatoes is a sharp knife.
